Joseph Dudley Drysdale
Lieutenant, the Lincolnshire Regiment
Joseph Dudley Drysdale attended Alleyn’s until 1901 and lived at 75 Nimrod Road, Streatham. He joined the war effort as part of the Lincolnshire Regiment and served as a Lieutenant after being granted a commission. Joseph served overseas with the Lincolnshire in France until he was killed in action on 23rd October 1916. He is commemorated on the Bancourt Memorial.
