Geoffrey Louis Adames Fogden

Geoffrey Louis Adames Fogden lived at 27 Beulah Tunbridge Wells and studied at Alleyn’s until 1915. After leaving school, he signed up to the war effort as part of the Honourable Artillery Company and served as a Gunner on the Western Front. In 1917 he was serving in Flanders during the Third Battle of Ypres and took part in the second general attack of the campaign on 16th August 1917 at Langemarck. It was during this action that Geoffrey was killed on 17th August 1917. He is buried at Bard Cottage, Belgium.
