Gerald Maltby
Captain, Indian Army (Reserve Officer, 35th Sikhs)
Gerald Maltby was a student and Alleyn’s until 1897 and served in First World War as part of the Indian Army. During the war, he held the rank of Captain with the 35th Sikhs and was responsible for around 100 soldiers. Gerald served with the Indian Army throughout the First World War and continued his service after the end of war in November 1918. In 1919, he was serving in Bombay when he died on June 9th. He is commemorated on the Kirkee Memorial, India.
