Archibald F. North

Lance Corporal, London Regiment (London Scottish)

Archibald F. North was a student at Alleyn’s from 1902-4 and joined the war effort as part of the London Regiment (London Scottish). During his time with the regiment, he served as a Lance Corporal and saw action overseas on the Western Front. In 1914, he was serving in France shortly after the end of the first Battle of Messines when he was killed in action on November 9^th. He is buried at Boulogne Eastern Cemetery.
