Harold Leslie Orrom

Private, Middlesex Regiment

Harold Leslie Orrom was a student at Alleyn’s until 1911 and joined the war effort shortly after the outbreak of war in August 1914. After being attested, he joined the Middlesex Regiment as a Private and was sent for service overseas on the Western Front. In 1916, he was serving France and took part in the Arras Offensive in April. It was during this action that Harold was killed in battle on April 28th 1917. He is commemorated on the Arras Memorial.
