Norris Snell

Captain, East Yorkshire Regiment

Norris Snell took part in the war effort as a Captain with the East Yorkshire Regiment and saw service overseas on the Western Front. In 1916, he was serving in France during the Battle of Delville Wood, part of the larger British Somme Offensive, when he was killed in action on July 14^th 1916. He is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial.
