Edgar D. Webb

Sergeant, London Regiment

Edgar D. Webb joined the war effort early on as part of the London Regiment (First Surrey Rifles) and served overseas on the Western Front as a Sergeant. During his time with the London Regiment, he saw action in France and was involved in a number of British offensives that attempted to produce a breakthrough on the Western Front. On 5^th May 1915, he was serving in Northern France when he was killed in action. He is buried at Le Touret Military Cemetery.
