L. H. Williams

Lieutenant (Act. Captain), Suffolk Regiment

L. H. Williams was a student at Alleyn's until 1905 and joined the war effort as part of the Suffolk Regiment, serving as a 2nd Lieutenant. In 1918, he was awarded the Military Cross for gallantry during active operations against the enemy and was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant. He later accepted a temporary positions as a Captain.
